About This Tool
If you are an individual who has struggled with a mental illness, by writing out your story, it allows you to release negative emotions, as well as allows you to gain support from all around the world. Only positive comments are allowed on the website, which creates a safe and respectful environment for those willing to open-up about their struggles. The stories range from individuals with depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorder, eating disorders, and more. On the flip-side, reading the stories of others who have gone through similar experiences or have struggled with the same mental illnesses shows to the readers who are currently struggling that you are not alone and you can connect with others who once struggled as you are currently. It also shows that there are many who have been at their lowest point, but have found the light and are coping positively with their mental illnesses today.
